A real feed
Post text, photos, and audio. Like, comment, react, follow. Tap a hashtag to see every post using it, and a "Following" filter so you see your people first.
Orbit is a private social network you join by invite — feed, chat, DMs, and voice notes for your people and no one else. No ads, no algorithm, no company mining your conversations. Fully self-hosted on servers run by Logic Systems.
What it is
Orbit has the parts you actually use — and none of the machinery built to keep you scrolling.
Post text, photos, and audio. Like, comment, react, follow. Tap a hashtag to see every post using it, and a "Following" filter so you see your people first.
A shared room for everyone and private threads for one-on-one. Replies, mentions, reactions, delivered live — with typing and read receipts between mutual follows.
Record and send audio right in a thread. Hold to record, tap to send — no third-party anything.
Fully self-hosted on infrastructure run by Logic Systems — not a third-party platform. Your posts and messages live on our own servers, not rented space someone else can mine or shut down.
Posts show in order. What you see is what was posted — not what an engagement model decided to surface.
Real push notifications reach you even when Orbit is closed, and new versions arrive over the air — each one verified against the server before it installs.
By invitation
Orbit isn't open to the public, and that's the point. Every account starts with an invite code from someone already inside. No code, no signup — which means no spam, no strangers, no scraping. Just the people who were actually asked.
Getting started
Someone inside Orbit generates a code for you. Single-use or shared — their call.
Download the APK below and install it. Android will ask you to allow installs from this source — that's normal for apps outside the Play Store.
Open Orbit, enter your code, pick a handle and password. You're in — start posting.
