My name is Jacob Lodice, known on this site as xperttheef. I am writing this appeal because I believe my ban was unjust, biased, and carried out in bad faith by a member of your own admin team — and I think the rest of the team deserves to know that.
Yes, I was working on a separate social platform. I will not pretend otherwise. But let me be clear: that alone has never been a bannable offense on this site, and many people in this community have worked on outside projects without consequence. The real reason I was banned has nothing to do with any rule I broke.
This is not how a healthy moderation team should operate. When admins use their power to settle personal scores or boost their own image rather than enforce rules fairly, it damages trust in the entire team — including the good admins who are doing things the right way. The rest of you deserve to know when one of your own is acting corruptly.
I am not here to cause drama or start a war. I genuinely enjoyed being part of this community — the art, the people, the creativity. I would like to come back. But I will not accept a ban that was issued dishonestly without at least speaking up about it.
I am asking for a fair, independent review of my ban by someone who was not involved in issuing it. Look at the actual evidence. Look at the timeline. Ask yourselves honestly whether what happened to me was about rules — or about politics.
I appreciate anyone on the team who takes this seriously and gives it a fair look. Thank you for your time.
